  15.      _l_p_s_t_a_t prints information about the current status of the LP spooling
  16.      system.

  18.      If no _o_p_t_i_o_n_s are given, then _l_p_s_t_a_t prints the status of all requests
  19.      made to _l_p(1) by the user.  Any arguments that are not _o_p_t_i_o_n_s are
  20.      assumed to be request _i_d_s (as returned by _l_p).  _l_p_s_t_a_t prints the status
  21.      of such requests.  _O_p_t_i_o_n_s may appear in any order and may be repeated
  22.      and intermixed with other arguments.  Some of the keyletters below may be
  23.      followed by an optional _l_i_s_t that can be in one of two forms:  a list of
  24.      items separated from one another by a comma, or a list of items enclosed
  25.      in double quotes and separated from one another by a comma and/or one or
  26.      more spaces.  For example:

  30.      The omission of a _l_i_s_t following such keyletters causes all information
  31.      relevant to the keyletter to be printed, for example:

  35.      prints the status of all output requests.
